As a co-op student at the IT Service Desk in our National Office in Toronto’s downtown core, you will be part of a team that provides support services to over 100 BDO offices throughout Canada. Reporting to the Manager, Client Support, you will coordinate timely and consistent administrative support to IT personnel, Managers and other end users. Your duties will include, but not be limited to:

    • Administering active directories, including maintenance of users, computers, security, and distribution objects
    • Imaging new computers, configuring, software updates and user profile setup.
    • Providing regular administrative support to the Firm’s IT personnel and Managers.
    • You will document and resolve issues using BDO’s incident reporting system accurately and within the defined SLA.
    • Managing and maintaining all supported computer inventory of hardware and phone systems in our Asset Management Database.
    • Providing first level support to users via incident tickets that are assigned.
    • Set-up and support IT equipment and services for meetings, training sessions, video conferences, and WebEx etc.

     

    Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge

    • Currently taking courses in Computer Science or Information Technology
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Great attention to detail
    • Ability to multitask
